I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with Deputy Morrison in many capacities as a first responder. Deputy Morrison is not only a highly skilled responder in technical rescues, backcountry rescues and swift water rescues he excels at working with a diverse group of professionals and volunteers from many backgrounds to achieve common goals, and while he excels in leadership positions, he is always the first one to step up and get his hands dirty doing any less glamorous job or task required. 

I have also had the opportunity to see his ability to be the type of law enforcement provider the public needs. Mike is proactive; he is firm, but compassionate, fair and balanced with a relatable demeanor that lends itself well to deescalating situations with a focus on finding solutions to conflict while upholding the law. His work in the schools was an outstanding example of the type of community focus and mentality Mike holds dear to his role in Law Enforcement. Having worked alongside Deputy Morrison in many stressful and emergent situations I strongly endorse him for Sheriff of Chelan County.
