After over 35 years in Law Enforcement for both Chelan and Douglas Counties, working as a volunteer, reserve deputy, 911 communications, and finally as a Deputy with Chelan County since 1989, I retired as a Sergeant. I have worked all areas of the county, providing the citizens with the services they should be getting. I also spent over 25 years as a CCDSA executive board member, supporting employee rights.

 During my tenure, I had the great opportunity to meet and work with Mike Morrison. From the day he started with Chelan County, I knew he was a solid Deputy. He is very true to his word and is not afraid of proving his point of view or actions based on facts and his vast knowledge of the laws we are tasked to enforce. He also has great knowledge of employment laws with his experience on both the Omak Police Officers Guild and now at the Chelan County Deputy Sheriff's Association, keeping both sides of an employee involved issue on the right course of action. 

 Mike has shown to be one of the most understanding and respectful people I know. He is truly the only higher educated candidate running for the office of Chelan County Sheriff in many years. He education is focused towards the career he has chosen and it shows in his work ethic every day. When Mike says he will bring back integrity, proper fulfillment of contracts and stop the HUGE costs of employment settlements with fair, open, and transparent applications on these type of issues, he will actually do it, with the facts and laws to back them up. He has the knowledge and respect of his fellow deputies and he will ensure all citizens of Chelan County will receive the services a well trained and knowledgeable Sheriff's Office should be giving.
